“The Future of Law and Economics”

Organized by the Universities of Paris Ouest-Nanterre-La Défense, Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and Maastricht, with the partnership of the Erasmus School of Law within the European Doctorate in Law and Economics (Bologna, Hamburg, Rotterdam Universities), supported by the European Commission.

A seminar for PhD students of University Paris Ouest–Nanterre–La Défense, University Paris 2 (Panthéon-Assas) and Maastricht University, Erasmus School of Law and the European Doctorate in Law & Economics (EDLE).

The first meeting of the workshop took place in 2009 on the campus of Paris Ouest-Nanterre-La Défense. On 8-9 March 2012, the fourth seminar will be organized, this time at University Panthéon-Assas Paris II, 12 place du Panthéon 75005 Paris. The title of the seminar is “The Future of Law and Economics”, symbolizing the fact that the PhD candidates constitute the future of law and economics and realizing that much of the research they undertake is in fact path-breaking and innovative.
