Analysis and Modeling of Social Interactions (AMIS)

The AMIS seminar (Analysis and Modelling of Social Interactions) is structured around the research on social interactions between agents or groups of agents. It aims to be an interdisciplinary seminar that crosses the disciplines of economics and mathematics. It will also develop links with researchers in computer science. The work presented will be both theoretical and applied in nature. There are no restrictions on the themes. The seminar will be held monthly. One of the objectives is to set up joint research on social interactions at the crossroads of the disciplines mentioned. Presentations by doctoral or post-doctoral students are encouraged. For example, the seminar will host presentations on the following themes:
  • Strategic interactions in markets,
  • Defects in cooperation,
  • Coordination models,
  • Mathematical modelling and multi-agent optimisation,
  • Market algorithms,
  • Game theory,
  • Economic policies
