The Young Econometers is a working group created in September 2016 by Gilles de Truchis and Elena Dumitrescu (University Paris Nanterre) and Denisa Banulescu (University of Orléans) and dealing with the econometrics of time series. It aims to bring together young econometers (doctoral students at the end of their thesis, post-docs and young MCFs) from the Paris region in order to promote scientific collaborations and the setting up of funded projects. The group meets monthly during a seminar entitled “tea for young econometers” for presentations and discussions on questions of theoretical and applied econometrics. It currently includes 20 members, the list of which is available on the group’s web page: http://www.varennes-ecofin.com/cje.html .
