Objectives of the workshop: the aim of this meeting is to bring together scholars from different fields to discuss the regulatory and economic issues related to corporate insolvency, in light of the on-going financial crisis. Theoretical papers as well as empirical studies are welcome.

Topics – the organizing committee encourages submissions especially in the following topics:

  • Economic causes of SMEs cease of payments
  • Determinants of survival in case of reorganization
  • Role of capital structure and governance
  • Consequences of bankruptcies on employment
  • Risk forecast of insolvency
  • Impact of legal and judicial institutions on firms' dynamics
